SA Productions Hits The New York Runways

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., (Sept. 20, 2010) - SA Productions strutted their stuff at this year’s Mercedes Benz Fashion Week filming for client MalPearson.com, a fashion, beauty & lifestyle website.

For one week, September 9th through the 16th, SA Productions followed the ladies of MalPearson.com capturing everything they needed at this year’s shows, and experiencing everything from hailing cabs to pushing through crazed fashion crowds.

The cameras were on for ten days straight, filming ten fashion shows, over twenty interviews and multiple event parties. After the hours of footage were dissected and polished down, the editors at Sleight got to work cutting together short television segments that aired locally on WOWT and nationally on a syndicated morning news show, The Daily Buzz.

In between all the chaos of the runway shows, SA productions filmed backstage interviews with some of the greatest names in fashion including Christian Siriano (season 4 winner of ‘Project Runway’), Max Azria (BCBGMAXAZRIA), Nicole Miller, Giles Mendel (J. Mendel), Custo Barcelona, Pamella Roland, Bobbi Brown (celebrity makeup artist), Ted Gibson (celebrity hairstylist) and many more.

“We love the kind the quality and flexibility we have with SA’s production staff, commented Mal Pearson. They’ve got great ideas, but they always bend over backwards to accommodate our needs…and believe me, it isn’t easy to shoot at Fashion Week!”
