ONLINE FASHION MAGAZINE HIRES SLEIGHT FOR REDESIGN; LAUNCH – LVCmag.com to debut September 7

AUGUST 24, 2009 – OMAHA, NE – Sleight Advertising has been hired to redesign and launch the 2.0 version of online fashion magazine LVCmag.com. The web site will launch in its preliminary stage on September 7, 2009.

Sleight’s award-winning creative team is moving at warp-speed to complete the project. Programmers, designers and writers have been working alongside the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Mal Pearson, who relocated from New York City.

"I could not be more thrilled with the progress of the new site and all the work Sleight has done for LVCMag.com,” says Pearson. “The steady support and stunning results from Sleight Advertising have surpassed my greatest expectations.”

The magazine’s name stems from “La Vie Cherie,” a French statement meaning “The darling life. The cherished life.” It’s Pearson’s belief that those are the two sides of a balanced woman. Thus, the site aims to combine style with substance and features articles on things like shopping, style, as well as relationships, health and more. An index of unique discount codes negotiated specifically for LVCmag.com are also a primary feature.

Pearson is relying on Sleight to help with another component: charitable involvement. In response, the agency is securing several relationships with multiple organizations to help raise money for women’s issues.

Another new addition to LVCmag.com is the opportunity for companies to advertise on the site. Sleight sold the first available section to a division of Adidas.

Also to note, LVCmag.com has been nominated to receive the Young Professionals Choice Award in Omaha, Nebraska. Winners will be announced in early 2010.
